Maggie Ryan received her MPH from the University at Albany School of Public Health, with a special focus on epidemiology, social determinants of health, and mental health. After serving as a research fellow with CDC-NIOSH, Maggie joined the Center for the Promotion of Mental Health in Juvenile Justice, at Columbia University (CU)/New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI) in 2019. Maggie manages and directs two studies at CU/NYSPI: e-Connect and Project Opioid Court REACH. Both projects are implementation science studies (funded through the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Institute for Drug Abuse, respectively) that focus on developing, implementing and evaluating processes to link juvenile- and criminal-justice involved individuals to the treatment that they need.
