Megan A. O’Grady, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine. She was previously Associate Director of Health Services Research and Research Scientist at Center on Addiction in New York for 9 years. Dr. O’Grady is an applied social psychologist and health services researcher interested in making science-based improvements in the addiction treatment system of care. She is currently a co-investigator on 4 NIH-funded studies focused on the implementation of services for substance use problems as well as system-level quality improvements. Dr. O’Grady also provides evaluation, technical assistance, and technology development services on SAMHSA and State funded demonstration projects in partnership with New York State. She received her PhD from Colorado State University and completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine Alcohol Research Center.
