Upcoming Events and Activities
You are starting Phase 2: Targeted Enhancement Support Phase soon. Upcoming events and activities include:
- Web-based Trainings: See the link above to access the web-based trainings. These can be completed on your timeline and you may receive continuing education credits for their completion
- Data training: Court Coordinator, Case Manager, and anyone else responsible for data entry will be trained on use of the UCMS system. (Dates coordinated by Margaret Ryan)
- REDCap Training: Court Coordinator, Case Manager, and anyone else responsible for screening potential participants will be trained on use of the UCMS system. (Dates coordinated by Margaret Ryan)
- Completing Action Plan: All TA workshops and the Action Plan Debrief have been completed. Stakeholder group members are now completing their action plan items and meeting with TA facilitators as needed to assist with completion of action plan goal.
Timeline
Phase 1: Needs Assessment
~6 months
The Needs Assessment phase will lend insight into key areas of focus or improvement for your county's opioid court.
Activities include:
- Identifying and convening your county's opioid court stakeholder group
- Kickoff meeting
- Surveys and interviews
- System mapping
- Inter-agency systems mapping
- Treatment provider capacity
These activities will result in a Needs Assessment Report for your county.
Phase 2: Targeted Enhancement Support
~6 months
The Targeted Enhancement Support Phase will enable your county, with technical assistance, to outline implementation goals, objectives, and activities for your opioid court.
Activities include:
- Web-based training modules with continuing education credits
- Technical assistance workshop(s)
- The development of an action plan
- Targeted technical assistance to support goals and objectives
The goal of this phase is to review technical assistance recommendations and develop an action plan for your court.
Phase 3: Roll-out
~12 months
In the Roll-out phase, the technical assistance team will provide support and facilitation in implementing, evaluating, and revising your opioid court action plan as necessary.
Activities include:
- Action plan implementation
- Ongoing facilitation
- Data collection on court and treatment outcomes
- Data feedback reports with facilitation
As this phase progresses, evaluation and continuous improvement of your opioid court will occur.
Phase 4: Monitoring
6-18 months
In the Monitoring Phase, the technical assistance team will provide ongoing evaluation of your opioid court action plan implementation, without additional support or facilitation.
Activities include:
- Continued data collection on court and treatment outcomes
- Data feedback reports will continue to be provided to your county.
The purpose of this phase is to evaluate the implementation of your opioid court action plan.
